Gates, pedestrian gates and fencing

The gate is the first thing you see of a house. We design it for the facade, the available opening and everyday use, then make it and install it.

A few sentences are enough to get started: measurements and photos are optional.

What we make

  • Swing gates

Single or double leaf, on existing piers or new posts, in a contemporary or traditional style.

  • Sliding gates

On a track or cantilevered, when there isn't room for the leaves to swing open.

  • Pedestrian gates and letterboxes

Matched to the main gate, with lock, keep and an integrated letterbox if you wish.

  • Fencing and railings

Garden fencing, front railings and cellar window grilles, in keeping with the gate.

  • Security doors and grilles

Security grilles for windows and cellar doors, discreet and robust.

  • Automation

Automating a new or existing gate, following a study of the safety measures required.

Technical points

Durability
Outdoors, we recommend hot-dip galvanising followed by powder coating (duplex system), the benchmark protection against corrosion.
Automation and safety
An automated gate must be protected against crushing, shearing and impact (force limitation, presence detection depending on the control mode, NBN EN 12453). Automation, even of an existing gate, requires a dedicated study and CE marking of the whole assembly.
Planning rules
The height and appearance of a street-facing fence may be governed by your local council or by regional regulations. We check this before we start drawing.

These simplified reference values do not replace a study of your project. Every piece is checked against its actual situation.

Materials and finishes

  • Galvanised and powder-coated steel
  • Wrought iron
  • Solid or open slats
  • Cut plate
  • Stainless steel

To prepare your enquiry

  1. 01A few photos of the space, from a distance and close up
  2. 02Approximate dimensions, even if taken with a tape measure
  3. 03Drawings or sketches, if you have them
  4. 04The intended use and the finish you'd like

None of this is required: the form guides you question by question.

Frequently asked questions

Sliding or swing?

A swing gate needs room for the leaves to open; a sliding gate needs a clear run along the fence. We measure both on site and advise you.

Can an existing gate be automated?

Often, if its structure and hinges allow it. We check its condition and the safety measures needed before proposing automation.

How do I maintain a steel gate?

With a duplex finish, washing with soapy water once or twice a year is enough. Any chips can be touched up quickly to prevent corrosion.
