Workshop-style glazed screens and steel doors

A glazed screen divides without closing off. It keeps the light and opens up the view, provided its sections are slim and its proportions right. We design it to fit the room.

A few sentences are enough to get started: measurements and photos are optional.

What we make

  • Fixed glazed screens

Between kitchen and living room, around a study or a bathroom, with the glazing pattern of your choice.

  • Hinged and pivot glazed doors

Single or double, with or without a glazed screen around them, with matching handles and hinges.

  • Sliding doors

Wall-mounted or pocket doors, when there isn't room for a door to swing.

  • Partitions and offices

Glazed partitions for offices, shops and workshops, solid or partly glazed.

Technical points

Slim sections
Narrow sections keep the screen light. Their size depends on the height and the size of the glass panes.
Safety glass
In circulation areas and doors, laminated or toughened glass limits the risks in the event of an impact.
Fitting in older buildings
Walls and ceilings are rarely square: the screen is made from a site survey and adjusted during installation.

These simplified reference values do not replace a study of your project. Every piece is checked against its actual situation.

Materials and finishes

  • Black or RAL-colour powder-coated steel
  • Clear glass
  • Laminated glass
  • Frosted or reeded glass
  • Brass for the handles

To prepare your enquiry

  1. 01A few photos of the space, from a distance and close up
  2. 02Approximate dimensions, even if taken with a tape measure
  3. 03Drawings or sketches, if you have them
  4. 04The intended use and the finish you'd like

None of this is required: the form guides you question by question.

Frequently asked questions

Does a glazed screen work with a kitchen?

Yes. We choose glass that is easy to clean and can include a solid lower section on the worktop side.

What is the lead time for a glazed screen?

Once the drawings are approved, allow several weeks for fabrication and finishing, then usually one day for installation. The exact lead time is stated in the quote.

Does a glazed screen provide sound insulation?

Partly. Acoustic laminated glass and suitable seals reduce noise considerably, though not as much as a solid wall.
